Safe Secure Kids offers free caregiver resources to help guide conversations on these important topics. Caregivers can also explore these topics with the children in their lives using the free learning activities.

Teaching Consent

Teaching kids respect for their own and others' bodies helps them become empowered and less likely to become victimized.

You will learn:

  • The definition of consent and how to talk about it with the children in your life
  • How to model asking for consent in different situations
  • How to set and respect boundaries

Understanding Feelings

Being able to recognize, identify, and communicate feelings is a critical part of child sexual abuse prevention.

You will learn:

  • How to be a trusted adult
  • How to communicate with children about their feelings
  • How to address major life events with kids

Coping With Stress

Helping children manage and communicate about their stress can help them develop into strong communicators who are less likely to act out, hurt themselves or others, or develop unhealthy forms of coping.

You will learn:
